Amenities
The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor infinity pool replenished daily with fresh seawater and a salt-water pool with sea views. Guests have access to a sun terrace with outdoor furniture, BBQ facilities, and a garden. The property is entirely energy self-sufficient, using a photovoltaic system with battery storage, and provides bicycle and car rental on site.
Rooms
Each unit has a terrace or balcony with sea views and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Rooms include a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, a coffee machine, and a kettle for light cooking. The hotel does not provide air conditioning, but bedrooms have ventilators; guests have noted daily energy shortages and limited hot water for a group of 4.
Dining
The hotel has BBQ facilities available for special events and offers breakfast in the room. Guests are treated to omelets made with fresh eggs from the hotel's hens. There is no on-site bar, restaurant, or snack service; the nearest restaurants and shops are 10 minutes away by car.
Location
Kaladi Rock is located in the outskirts of Avlemonas, 200 meters from Kaladi Beach, and within 2.9 km of Venetian Castle at Avlemonas. Loutro tis Afroditis is 3.3 km away, and the port at Diakofti is 6 km from the property. Kithira Airport Alexandros Onassis is 7 km away, and the area is popular for snorkeling, fishing, and canoeing.
Sustainability
The hotel operates entirely off-grid, relying on a photovoltaic system and battery storage for electricity. The infinity pool uses fresh seawater, replaced daily, and the property is committed to eco-friendly practices. Animal lovers can find ducks and hens cared for by the hosts, adding to the rustic charm.
